My Story
My name is May Kou. I fell in love with clean, natural, healing skincare during my diagnosis of mold illness and mast cell activation syndrome. My acne was especially bad during this time and everything I put on my face was making it burn and break out.
I suddenly became sensitive to all kinds of foods, smells, and chemicals. And the honest truth was that I hated my body and my symptoms. I wanted to give up on myself.
It was during this dark time that I decided to eliminate as many toxic things in my life as possible. I discovered oil cleansing, face oils, tallow, and the power of botanicals. They were so gentle and soothing on my skin that I cried with relief. What a huge difference in healing my skin barrier, preventing acne, and lightening my scars.
Slowly, I healed. Slowly, I learned to love myself again.
